Lyndon LaRouche's
Visit To Vicenza, Italy
October 10-12, 2023

On Oct. 8, the Vicenza newspaper Il Giornale di Vicenza published a straight-forward announcement of the upcoming public events featuring Lyndon LaRouche. (Click here to read details.)

During the seminar in Vicenza on Friday, Oct. 10, in which mainly local entrepreneurs and students of economics participated, LaRouche explained the recent California developments and the significance of the "beast-man" policy. He answered questions related to his Landbridge program and his conception of physical economy, including the issue of relationships with China under current WTO regulations. Italian industry must be defended, LaRouche said, but at the same time Italy should cooperate with those tendencies in China which want to develop the mainland, mainly through technology-sharing and infrastructural investments.

The next day, LaRouche addressed the international meeting of the ISIES, dedicated to "Information Technology for Development." LaRouche spoke in the afternoon session, concluding the meeting. Other participants included EU representative Harry de Backer, as well as political authorities from the Veneto region, government advisors, and entrepreneurs. One of the panels addressed the interesting issue of "telemedicine," a field in which Vicenza entrepreneurs are world leaders. Telemedicine ranges from general education of medical cadres in so-called third world countries, to complex surgeries operated at a distance in cases where no specific competence is available on location.

In Milan, on October 12, LaRouche addressed a meeting of about 60 friends and supporters of the Movimento Solidarietà, the association of the LaRouche movement in Italy, in a three-hour-long speech and discussion.
