Republican Websites Announce LaRouche Webcast
October 21, 2023

Talon News, a conservative news service released a wire yesterday morning entitled, “LaRouche, The Tenth Dem, Speaks'', by Charles Mahaleris. The story was immediately published on at least two Republican-oriented websites -- GOPUSA, and Men's News Daily. The reporter, recognizing LaRouche as the tenth Presidential candidate now that Graham has dropped out, began his article by quoting the L04 press release:

“LaRouche will speak on the prospect for the post-Cheney era.  Recent events show serious moves in the Senate, led by Sens Kennedy, Biden, and Lugar (the Republican chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee) and in the media to target Cheney and his lies.  The October 22 webcast will outline the policies needed to replace those of Cheney.''

The article says that various gatherings will occur throughout the world to listen to the webcast, and then states, “LaRouche has viciously targeted Vice President Richard Cheney.''

Mahaleris goes on to quote the press release, “The recent Goebbels-like campaign of lies by Vice President Dick Cheney about the war against Iraq, in the midst of the increasingly worsening debacle in that nation, has again put a focus on the Vice President's central role in steering the nation into this illegal war. It's about time.''

The article cites the millions of pieces of literature released by LaRouche's campaign, demanding Cheney's removal, and that LaRouche is the second Democratic candidate to become eligible for matching funds.

He ends by saying, “LaRouche, who has run for President numerous times since his first bid in 1976, became the first Presidential candidate ever to be arrested and convicted in a federal criminal case in 1989.  He was imprisoned for fraud and tax evasion which his supporters believe was a conspiracy against a popular candidate.  They are calling for a reversal of this conviction as an effort to “save America.''

Mahaleris concludes, “Despite this, LaRouche and his supporters have raised more money than some of his rivals seeking to replace President George Bush.''

This media source previously covered LaRouche in an article analyzing the fundraising figures of all the Democratic Presidential candidate, including that LaRouche had the highest half-year operating costs, at the time.
