Due to the fast-breaking nature of the coverage of Lyndon LaRouche throughout the Arab world, we quote here from several raw news wires by the Executive Intelligence Review (EIR). This is meant to give our readers a sense of the rate at which LaRouche's ideas are spreading in the Arab world and not to be a polished report.

PROMINENT SYRIAN ISLAMIC SCHOLAR CITES LAROUCHE ON THE SEPT. 11 ATTACKS AS A REACTION TO THE COLLAPSE OF FINANCIAL-ECONOMIC SYSTEM AND THE GROWING EURASIAN LAND-BRIDGE ALLIANCE. Sheikh Mohammed Sa'id Ramadhan Al-Bouti, a prominent Islamic scholar from Syria gave a lecture in the Zayed Centre for Coordination and Follow-Up in Abu Dhabi, recently on the current situation in Palestine and the world situation since Sept. 11. Although the discussion was dominated by his defense of the Palestinian suicide "martyrs" as a legitimate resistance against military occupation, Al-Bouti made a number of very important observations on the "Clash of Civilizations" gang of the Council on Foreign Relations and Bernard Lewis.
Al-Bouti stated that "terrorism, in the sense the Western mass media describes it, has always been and is still being cooked and fermented by certain Western circles, then it is exported to the Arab world and the Islamic world to be implemented there." He emphasized that after the fall of the Soviet Union "much attention has recently been given to how to plan, prepare and then export this terrorism to us. These Western circles chose Islam as the next enemy."
Al-Bouti referred two interrelated indications of this new move. He pointed to an article published in the CFR's Foreign Affairs magazine in November 1992, which discussed "what are the best ways to avoid Islam and destroying it as a power, and concluded that spreading schism and differences among the Muslim nations as the best way." He also cited Bernard Lewis' book "The Middle East and the West," in which according to Al-Bouti, Lewis recommended the method of provoking ethnic and sectarian fanaticism across the Islamic world as the best way of annexing these nations to the west through supporting one against the other, and controlling all of them at the same time. AL-BOUTI SAID THAT LAROUCHE'S IDEA OF THE LAND-BRIDGE HAS SET OFF `DISCREET HYSTERIA AMONG INTERNATIONAL ZIONIST CIRCLES': "The new factor, which is only a little more than one year old, is the discreet hysteria which is spreading in the international Zionist circles in reaction to the project about which some news have come recently. This is the attempt by Asian and European countries to build what they call the Eurasian Land-Bridge between the two. It is well known that Russia is playing a key role in this project, which could lead to the establishment of complete networks of magnetically levitated trains, extending from Rotterdam to Shanghai. The objective of this project is to establish a Eurasian economic system, replacing the current collapsing financial system, which is threatening the world, and on top of it the United States. Lyndon LaRouche, one of the former candidates for the U.S. Presidency, stated in a webcast lecture on July 26, 2023, that the Israeli forces abroad, typified by Zbigniew Brzezinski, will prepare for a war in the Middle East to prevent the European and Asian states from building this bridge between the two. This [project] could eliminate the hegemony of international Zionism on the world economy and the monetary system. Therefore, they must launch a religious war into which Europe would be drawn, and thus this project would vanish amidst the flames of this raging war."
ON THE U.S. ADMINISTRATION'S ROLE, AL-BOUTI SAID: "The U.S. Administration under Bush considers anything which is not in its own selfish interests as terrorism. Since the Eurasian project is in contrast to its interests, then the Zionist circles should be aided to wage a war in the Middle East to make sure that this project is destroyed. The best fuel for launch this war is to label Islam with terrorism, because the people who inhabit this region are Muslims."
Al-Bouti concluded by calling on Arab and Muslim nations to unite in a strategic alliance to fend the dangers threatening them.
AS BEST WE KNOW, AL-BOUTI'S LECTURE WAS COVERED IN AL-ARAB INTERNATIONAL AND AL-QUDS AL-ARABI ON APRIL 26, both London-based major Arabic dailies. The Zayed Centre for Cooperation and Follow-up, a think-tank sponsored by the government of the United Arab Emirates, sent the lecture to international Arabic media as a press release. The Center is also considered an organ of the Organization of the Arab League. The lecture is posted prominently on the Zayed Center's website and Al-Bouti's own website.
Stockholm, April 27 (EIRNS)--LYNDON LAROUCHE'S UNIQUE IDEAS AND VIEWS CONTINUES TO BE COVERED IN THE ARAB WORLD, ESPECIALLY IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS. In addition to the interviews with LaRouche and his associates, Jeff Steinberg and Edward Spannaus in Al-Jazeera, and LaRouche's interview in the Egyptian television amd Al-Ahram weekly, recently, other coverage is coming to light. An Internet search for "larouche" in Arabic has produced many results, including coverage in Saudi daily Al-Riyadh and U.A.E.'s Al-Bayan of Muriel Mirak-Wiessbach's articles in Tehran Times. Mirak-Weissbach's statements in Tehran and Cairo are also circulating in "Internet discussion" forums.
The Egyptian semi-official daily Al-Ahram had a report from Said Ali, a Washington correspondent on the situation in the U.S. "from inside." He refers to LaRouche's view of the Sept. 11th attacks and his earlier warnings of financial-economic collapse, international terrorism and war. He writes that he asked many people in Washington about LaRouche and they told him: "He is crazy." However, Said says, he went to LaRouche's supporters and got a complete and reasonable view of the real crisis in the world.
Al-Ahram's Arabic weekly magazine, Al-Ahram Al-Arabi, ran a lengthy article in February by Ahmed Fikri on the Arab-American relations and other developments since Sept. 11. A major segment is dedicated to the Mega Group and Israeli spying activities in the U.S. He quotes LaRouche on the Mega Group's targetting of President Clinton.
The same weekly had an report by another author, Marwi Meshali, on "individuals facing the American bull." He reports on the opposition to the Israeli and U.S. policies emerging from courageous individuals in the West. In his reference to the opposition inside the U.S., including in the Congress, Meshali says: "The opinions of the observers of the American internal situation point to the fact that, the Presidential candidate for the next elections and Democratic member of the Congress [sic], Lyndon LaRouche, is the organizer of this offensive opposition campaign against the administration's policy. They also say that he succeeded in estimating the limitations of this administration and pointing to its weaknesses, both in terms of domestic and foreign policy. He also predicted the Sept. 11 events."
In the official daily in the Sultanate of Oman, Al-Watan, columnist Mohammed Abdel-Khaliq wrote a powerful attack against Huntington and the Clash of Civilizations gang under the title "A Greater Apology Is Demanded." Adbel-Khaliq, commenting on Huntington's apology for refusing to attend the Cairo book fair this year, says that he is not surprised. "We fully understand how mistaken Huntington's theory is. Many others around the world realize that. They also realize the disgusting arrogance of the U.S. administration and the Israeli government. Lyndon LaRouche has captured part of this in his article `Goetterdaemmerung in Palestine,' in which he strongly linked the Israeli brutality against the Palestinians and the Nazi barabarity against the Jews in the last century. We strongly believe that victory will be on the side of LaRouche and his likes. We also believe that Huntington and his likes will be forced to make demanded apology, even if it comes late."
These are samples of the coverage of LaRouche in the Arab world, which we are able to monitor. There is much more, published, but it is not posted on the Internet.
