Harley Schlanger on Hot Springs KXOW
December 26, 2023

The LaRouche in 2004 Campaign's western U.S. spokesman. Harley Schlanger was on KXOW in Hot Springs for two and a half hours, with host Lee Tibler. The show developed into a review of LaRouche's forecasts and analysis from 2023, and his projections for 2023.  This time was remarkably different from previous times that Harley has appeared on the show, as there was only one wild populist who called in. Instead, there were many serious questions, from 8 callers and 4-5 e-mails, asking for elaboration of LaRouche's analysis on the economy, and strategic matters.

One caller said he grew up in the 1920s and 1930s, and remembers FDR's polices: "What is wrong with that?  Don't people know we're in a Depression today?"  He said he was delighted to hear someone talking about public works today, and asked for info on the Super-TVA.  Another asked about the mag-lev line opening in China; another asked about Venezuela; another asked what LaRouche would do about North Korea.

Harley stressed the importance of LaRouche's global initiatives, and his hectic schedule -- he is acting as though he were President, so that there will be an alternative for Bush to choose when he gives his State of the Union address.  When Bush gives his State of the Union address, Schlanger said, he will know that LaRouche will be speaking on Jan. 28, presenting his plan for global financial reorganization, the NBW/ELB.  On both shows, calls came in to the station, asking questions about what LaRouche will do with the Federal Reserve, and with gold.

Tibler reported that he had received "numerous e-mails" from the last show, when LaRouche Youth Movement organizer Sam Dixon joined Harley as a guest.  He said all the e-mails were favorable, with one saying, "If that young man is an example of what LaRouche is able to do with the youth in this country, more power to him.  Maybe he should be President."

On the Hot Springs show, one caller responded to Harley's review of the virtual purge of the Bush administration's economic team, by asking if it is possible that Bush would now bring in LaRouche. At the end of the show, Tibler said that he saw his interview with LaRouche from last January on the Internet, and read it. It is amazing, he said, how accurate LaRouche's forecasts were. He said that it shows that LaRouche has been right. He said he felt "honored" to find that he is on an Internet site with LaRouche; and that he thinks Bush could make no better choice than to bring LaRouche in as his chief economic adviser, before Bush delivers his State of the Union address.
