The LaRouche campaign fundraising figures were reported in The Arab World, a weekly published in Los Angeles and distributed nationally printed the following excerpts from the LaRouche in 2004 press release in its May 2 issue:
"Democratic presidential pre-candidate Lyndon LaRouche's campaign committee has issued a press release on the latest figures released by the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) on fundraising by the Democratic presidential pre-candidates. These figures show that LaRouche has more individuals who have contributed $200 or more to his campaign than each of the nine other candidates have in contributors. And, although contributions below $200 are not itemized, LaRouche has over four times as much money in contributions of less than $200 than his nearest rival, Sen. John Kerry. These figures show that LaRouche has the most grassroots of any of the ten running for the Democratic nomination for President next year!
"Of course, the 'mainstream' media has refused to cover this important indicator of presidential politics. Use this press release to break through the press blackout of LaRouche and his campaign. There is a PDF-formatted version of the press release available through a link at the top of that page. Use this version to make copies and distribute it widely. Besides distributing this in your neighborhood, local campuses, and downtown area, take the press release to your local Democratic Party headquarters and radio stations demand that they acknowledge the truth - LaRouche is a leading candidate and must be included in all debates and press coverage!"
