On Saturday, May 24, Lyndon and Helga LaRouche spoke before ten media, from national and regional television and the print media in Bangalore, India. Mr. LaRouche spoke of the situation concerning postwar Iraq; the role of the U.S.; the Eurasian Landbridge; the global economic crisis; and, with great emphasis, the fact that he is leading the field, among Democratic Party candidates. Helga spoke about the necessity for a dialogue of civilizations.

The press conference was also addressed by Chandrajit Yadav, a collaborator of the great Indian statesman and leader Jawaharlal Nehru and former Minister in the Cabinet of Indira Gandhi. Mr. Yadav today is the head of India's Movement for Social Justice.

The following day, one interview has been broadcast on regional television, and an article on the press conference has appeared in the Sunday Times of India newspaper. More to follow.
