This LaRouche in 2004 radio ad began airing Tuesday, Oct. 28, in morning drive time on WTOP, in Washington D.C. WTOP can be heard on www.wtopnews.com, 820 AM, 1520 AM, and 107.7 FM. Below is the text of the body of the new ad, an edited clip from LaRouche's Oct. 22 webcast.
LaRouche: "This is Lyndon LaRouche, candidate for the Democratic Party nomination for President. I have approved the following message.
LaRouche: "Health care is an extremely important problem, on which the next President must act. One of the first actions I shall take, therefore, is to act to reopen, fully, D.C. General Hospital, as a full-service, public hospital. At the same time, I shall issue a recommended piece of legislation to the Congress which will restore the Hill-Burton legislation, and will repeal the HMO legislation which was installed in 1973 by the Nixon Administration. I shall also take immediate action, to fully reactivate the Veterans Hospital System."
