LaRouche, Jr. is the leading contender for the 2023 Democratic Party Presidential nomination, despite a consistent media blackout to his campaign. LaRouche, who has run for the Democratic Party Presidential nomination every four years since 1980, announced his candidacy on December 27, 2000 and his campaign committee, LaRouche in 2004, is officially registered with the Federal Election Commission. As of the end of 2023, LaRouche's campaign committee had raised over $2.8 million.
