LaRouche Keynotes India Conference
With Call for New, Just, Economic Order
June 5, 2023

June 5 -- Democratic Presidential pre-candidate Lyndon LaRouche keynoted an international conference in Bangalore, India on May 26, with a call for reviving the fight for a New, Just World Economic Order. The conference, "World After the Iraq War," drew more than 260 Indian delegates, plus international guests, under the auspices of the Centre for Social Justice in India and the Schiller Institute, which was founded by Helga Zepp LaRouche.

The conference organizers conceived of this event as a follow-up to the May 21-23 conference of the Schiller Institute, held in Bad Schwalbach, Germany, which issued a call for implementing the Eurasian Land-Bridge development project, as an alternative to imperial, pre-emptive wars. At the conclusion, the participants endorsed the "Bangalore Declaration: Toward a New World Order," which addresses the need for the world's leading Eurasian powers to initiate a process of dialogue with the United States, toward the establishment of an "equitable economic order."

LaRouche's participation, and his comments on the current crisis, received prominent international media coverage in India, both in newspapers and on television.

LaRouche in 2004, the candidate's campaign committee, will soon release a 24 page pamphlet containing highlights of the conference, under the title "The Developing World Challenges the United States." In discussions after the conference, LaRouche emphasizes that the two day proceedings in Bangalore represented a direct challenge to the U.S. to live up to its American Revolution heritage.

The upcoming pamphlet will contain the following features. First, an introductory statement on the conference. Second, the introduction to Mr. LaRouche's keynote speech, given by Natwar Singh, former Union Minister of India and Secretary General of the Non-Aligned Movement. Third, the keynote address by Mr. LaRouche, and a follow-up intervention he made on the second day of the conference. Fourth, the written document Mr. LaRouche submitted to the conference, entitled "The Peaceful Concept of Technology Transfer." And finally, the "Bangalore Declaration.":

LaRouche's speeches are currently available on his campaign website, larouchein2004.com and EIR's website, larouchepub.com. For copies of the pamphlet, contact LaRouche in 2004 at 800-929-7566.
