LaRouche in 2004 Press Release LaRouche Webcast July 2 To Target Protectors Of Cheney June 30 -- Democratic Presidential pre-candidate Lyndon LaRouche will use his July 2 international webcast, to break open the political environment, for the impeachment or resignation of Vice-President Dick Cheney, the key Chickenhawk behind the perpetual war policy of the Bush Administration. Over the course of the last week, LaRouche has emphasized that the key protection racket for Cheney, has come from members of the Democratic Leadership Council. He put it this way: "The only reason Dick Cheney has not been forced to resign is because those Democrats who are under control of the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) gang, are more enthusiastic supporters of the neo-conservatives than the Republicans," LaRouche said. "As long as leading Democratic candidates are not willing to buck the DNC group that's under DLC manipulation, they are not morally qualified to run for the office of the Presidency. If they can't recognize a swindle as obvious as that being pulled off by the group of which Cheney is the head, they don't have the qualifications to be President." In a series of radio interviews, WTOP ads, and public events held between June 27 and June 29, LaRouche both emphasized the absolute necessity of removing Cheney, and his determination to eliminate the Synarchist-fascist grouping which has taken over the leadership of the Democratic Party, and thus kept Cheney in place.
