With no objections or challenges filed to his petitions or to his delegate slates in Illinois or New York state, Democratic Presidential candidate LaRouche has now been certified for the ballot in those two key states. LaRouche also filed in Kentucky and West Virginia last week, and in Louisiana this week, bringing to 24 (including Washington, D.C.) the number of states where he is filed or has been on the primary ballot. Those states are: New Hampshire, Arizona, Delaware, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Nebraska, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Washington, D.C. In all but Nebraska (which certifies late), he is already certified for the ballot.

Additional target states for ballot status are: Pennsylvania, Arkansas, New Jersey, Montana, Indiana, North Carolina, South Dakota, Alabama, Idaho, Oregon, and Puerto Rico for a total of 34 states (including Puerto Rico and D.C.) Petitions will be filed before the conference in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Oregon.

The campaign is now gearing up for the next round of primaries, Feb. 3 through March 2, which include: Delaware, Arizona, Oklahoma, Missouri (Feb. 3); Tennessee and Virginia (Feb. 10); Wisconsin (Feb. 17); California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont (March 2).
