"The recent atrocities in Spain remind me of the Bologna train station bombing of 1980. I am not surprised at this act of brutal terrorism. As a leading U.S.A. public figure, I present the following precise assessment to the government and to the Democratic Party. "I warned of precisely this kind of development in August of last year, following statements issued by Vice President Dick Cheney, in which he referenced new terrorist threats to the United States.
