Answers From LaRouche Q: What do you think about there being other, possible higher life forms in the universe? - from July 26, 2023 West Coast Cadre School |
Question: Hi, I was just wondering what you think about life in the universe, and higher beings of light and good, the part they may play? LaRouche: What in the universe? Question: Like, higher beings of light--maybe aliens, or just other sorts of divine beings, and the help that they play, in helping us evolve. Maybe part of what you're saying about the unseen, and their assistance to help evolve humans, to helping with issues of life and harmony, and good ways to govern and be. I think that they may have evolved systems, to help our existing way, which is not really that satisfactory? You know, the life, and liberty, and pursuit of happiness, that the U.S. system was built on. LaRouche: I think I have your point. I understand what you're saying. First of all, we know the principle of life. We know also the principle of noësis. We know it in certain terms. We know they exist. We know they're universal: That is, that the principle of life, and the principle of noësis, which is peculiar to us, to human beings, is running all around the universe--as a matter of fact, God is a noëtic being. He's a personal noëtic being, out there someplace, or all round us. So that exists. All we know, so far, is, we know that the human form is the only form in which noësis occurs. But, we know, at the same time, that life is a characteristic principle of the universe. And we know that living life is in the universe, as universally. What we know, however, is that the phase-spatial view, that we distinguish between the so-called "pre-biotic" principles, which we define experimentally, by physical chemistry generally; we also know living principles, which we define, largely, by again, the same physical chemistry measurements--as like the Pasteur-Curie series. Thirdly, we know noesis, as a human characteristic exists in no other known species. And, it is not a derivative of living processes, but is something, a quality, which under certain circumstances, will infect a living process. And thus, we have a living process, which on the one hand is living, but on the other hand, is also noëtic. All right, now: Can this happen in other parts of the universe? Well, we can't exclude it. But, the point is, that whatever it is about man, that makes man appropriate to that kind of development--that is, what makes the animal form of man appropriate for the manifestation of noësis, will also be true, wherever else noësis is found. Now, we also know, that noësis, wherever it infects the universe, in the specific living form, will have essentially the same characteristics as it has with us. So that, if there other forms, or "higher forms of life" as they're called, out there--and we can not exclude their existence--their existence will be compatible with ours. Does that answer your question? Next Questioner: I think she said, yes it did. -30-
