* Indianapolis, Indiana: LaRouche National Campaign Spokeswoman Debra Freeman was the lead speaker today at the International Day Seminar of the NBCSL (National Black Caucus of State Legislators) which is holding its annual meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana. This year, the topic of International Day event (which precedes the opening of the conference) was the AIDS pandemic. Dr. Freeman was introduced as LaRouche's National Campaign spokesperson to the gathering of about 75-80 people attending the panel. Her background in public health was also noted. She presented LaRouche's forecast of the AIDS pandemic going back to a 1974 EIR report, with references locating AIDS as a disease of economic collapse. The audience included labor leaders, at least 50-60 state legislators, and other elected officials. Both The Washington Post and AP covered the meeting. |

An extensive excerpt from Mr. LaRouche's recent paper, "Truth in U.S. National Security Policy: A Boldly Modest U.S. Global Mission" was translated into Turkish. The excerpt included the sections: "War, Religions and Peace", "The Present World Situation", "The Common Tasks of Mankind", and "National Mental Security". In the last section, in particular, LaRouche identifies the psychopathological problem of adhering to popular opinion, or "going along to get along."
